KPV is about as small as a peptide gets — just three amino acids: lysine, proline and valine. It corresponds to the tail end of a larger peptide, α-MSH, and is one of the smallest items Vestrand carries in its tissue-repair research collection.
We supply it as a single laboratory reference lot, each batch prepared for independent purity testing, with the certificate for that lot posted to its verification page once analysis is complete.
The detail worth knowing is a naming one. Because KPV is a fragment of a bigger molecule, public databases usually file it under that parent's name rather than under “KPV” — so a search on the short name can look like it failed when the record is simply catalogued elsewhere.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
